Akoha Inc., Montreal's hottest new startup, is looking for an experienced Graphic Designer who wants to work in a fun environment with other motivated, talented developers. We are creating an original idea that we hope will change the way people think about social networks and online communities. We are a small team that believes in creating mind-blowing web apps that have a positive impact on the world, avoiding meetings as much as possible, iterating quickly, and having fun at work.
You will be a integral part of the founding team that launches our web community to the world. You will be reporting to the company co-founder Austin Hill but working closely with our Interaction designer and the entire development team. You will be responsible for the design of the company's primary web application, and the companies marketing material. You will also be responsible for producing art assets used to implement the design.

Responsibilities:
- Develop concepts for web application look and feel
- Create illustrations for use by the interaction design team
- Produce art assets for use by the development team.
- Develop and implement corporate look and feel.
- Work with the team to develop innovative marketing campaigns.
- Help deliver an incredible web application that is a shining example of effective web design.
Skills / Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design (or related degree)
- Minimum 2 years web design experience, either as a freelancer or in an agency
- Superior illustration skills
- Superior creative skills
- Proven ability to work with different media (Web, Print, Film)
- Excellent communication skills
- Mastery of the tools of the trade (e.g. Photoshop and Illustrator)
- Excellent oral and written skills in French and English.
